秋葉原は凄い電子部品を豊富に取り扱ってることで有名で、昔元ソビ エトの諜報員が秋葉原にやってきて「俺は昔この電子部品を運ぶために9の国境と20の検問を命懸けでくぐり抜けたのに、なんでこんな値段で大量に置いてあ るんだ畜生！」といって泣き崩れたエピソードがあるくらい。
